GHYACHCHOK VDC, GORKHA

Standing proud like a neglected poor cousin of more famous sibling Barpak of Gorkha, Ghyachchok VDC was equally devastated by the April, 2015 earthquake. Not a single house or school withstood.

Art works! Sangai Khelaun

A brainchild of the indefatigable artistic spirits of Ms. Sharareh Bajracharya of Srijanalaya, Mr. Niranjan Kunwar, an Educationalist and Executive Board of our foundation whose shared belief in the power of art, especially for children and education, gave birth to Art Works! Sangai Khelaun.

Community Eye Center

CHARIKOT, DOLAKHA; CHAUTARA,
Partnered with Magsaysay Award winner, Dr. Sanduk Ruit’s Tilganga Institute of Opthalmology’s Nepal Eve program to build Community Eye Centers(CEC) that were damaged in the earthquake.

Nawalparasi

Daunee Hill, Dumkibas VDC, Nawalparasi
Established in 1997, Ahimsabadu Naha Boudha Anath Secondary School in Daunee Hill, Dhumkibas VDC, Nawalparasi District. It is managed by the Buddhist nuns from the monastery of Rinpoche Haha Sanghanayak Vikku Karma Gyan Sagar Lama at Daunne. They also run an orphanage at the monastery.

Archale VDC and Kakani, Nuwakot
Provided zinc sheets to 238 households of Archale VDC ward No. 8 and 9 and 700 meters of irrigation pipes. Supplied 950 meters of 90mm pipe for Angular lift Irrigation Project at Bidur Municipality, Ward Number 9 Angaputar.

Gunsa VDC, Sindhupalchok
Built 100 temporary shelters in Gunsa VDC More than 500 families impacted. Collaborated with Association of students of Architecture(ASA) for AASHRAYA project & Dr. Pasang Tsering Lama. Provided SFN scholarship to 5 students for higher studies.

Naad Sangeet Pathshala

Pashupatinath; Guheswori; Chabahil and Bouddha
SFN Supports the music school to provide free classes to more than 100 children, mostly girl students, from under privilaged backgrounds around the Pashupatinath, Guheshori, Chahbahil and Bouddha area.
