Shikshya Foundation Nepal seeks to oversee and facilitate the education of children in need from primary school through secondary school and higher education.

Lalitpur

Lele VDC, Nallu VDC, Badi khel and Ghusel VDC

Built 500 temporary shelters in Lele VDC, Nallu VDC, Badi Khel and Grusel VDC. Lele Samudayik Bikash Kendra(Lele Community Development Center) and Mr. Astaman Nagarkoti helped with data collection and distribution of construction materials at Lele, Nallu and Badi Khel.

Snow Yak Foundation

Upper Dolpo

Snow Yak Foundation works to provide education to children in the remote area of Upper Dolpo. Mr. Binod Shahi Newa also famously known as "Sir of the Himalayas", journeys to Dolpo along with other volunteers for six months of ther year to teach students ranging from Grade 1-5 in a local school.

Sathya Udhyan

Bungamati, Lalitpur

A shelter and a school for abandoned children of waste workers, Ms. Rashmi Kafle’s Sathya Udhyan also houses displaced children of drug addicts. SFN supports all 40 children, teachers and staff at her shelter and school in Bungamati, Lalitpur.

All Over Nepal

Our first partner organization since 2011. Run by Ms. Pushpa Basnet who won CNN Hero of the year 2012, her Butterfly Home provides a safe haven for children of Prison inmates from all over Nepal. SFN supports the education of all 23 girls at Butterfly Home.
