Open Learning Exchange Nepal organised a story-writing workshop to help bring original stories written by young adults for their digital early grade reading content. The workshop was conducted in partnership with Shikshya Foundation Nepal and facilitated by Muna Gurung of Katha Satha. We had 16 students participating over a period of five workshop sessions to discuss and write original children’s stories that will later be developed into learning content for early grade readers by OLE Nepal’s team of illustrators, designers and game developers.

It was heart warming for us here at SFN to witness our scholarship students from different parts of Nepal share their own unique experiences that we look forward to being developed into contextual Nepali stories for early readers by OLE Nepal.
